International Awareness Week

At the International Council Of Multiple Birth Organizations (ICOMBO) meeting held during June, 2010 in Seoul, South Korea – it was agreed that ICOMBO would be the lead organizer of International Multiple Births Awareness Week. Further, this event will be held on the 1st week of November, bi-annually, starting in 2010.

Themes will be chosen at the ICOMBO meeting held during the International Congress on Twin Studies, held every other year, in locations around the world.

For International Multiple Births Awareness Week 2010 the theme is to promote the newly updated Declaration of Rights and Statement of Needs of Twins and Higher Order Multiples.
