Support Networks

These networks provide opportunities for TMB members to network with other multiple-birth families in similar situation to share concerns and areas of expertise with one another.

Loss of Multiples Support Network
The Loss of Multiples Support Network (LSN) is for families who have lost one, more or all of their multiple-birth children. The LSN is also available for adult survivors, grandparents, and those supporting bereaved multiple-birth families. For details email loss@multiplebirthscanada.org.

Lone Parents Support Network
The Lone Parents Support Network is for families in which the head of the household is a lone parent due to divorce, death, military posting, financial demands or choice. Visit loneparents@multiplebirthscanada.org.

Special Needs Support Network
The Special Needs Support Network is for families where a multiple or sibling has a special need, such as autism, congenital heart defect, asthma, eczema, cerebral palsy, Down’s Syndrome, attention deficit disorder, diabetes, blindness, etc. Special needs include any physical or developmental disability that puts additional stress on the family and the challenges of raising a gifted child. Francophone Support Network
The Francophone Support Network is for French-speaking families. This network connects families to provide support and share experiences with each other. For details email francophone@multiplebirthscanada.org.

Higher-Order Multiples Support Network
The Higher Order Multiples Support Network is for families with triplets, quadruplets or more. The HOM Support Network can be contacted at homnetwork@multiplebirthscanada.org.

Breastfeeding Support Network
The Breastfeeding Support Network provides support to families considering breastfeeding or who are already breastfeeding their multiples. For additional information contact breastfeeding@multiplebirthscanada.org.

Adult Multiples Support Network
This network could very well be a Canadian first—a place where adult multiples can connect, share and support each other. To join, contact the Chair person by e-mail adultmultiples@multiplebirthscanada.org.
